This chapter will discuss the WPS Report Generation for UAE feature available in Open HRMS.
With the help of the WPS Report Generation for UAE feature, you can handle the contributions of each employee and generate adequate reports in XLSX format. You can completely rely on this module in order to create salary information files of employees in your company for every month in XLSM format. The user will be able to get access to the features of the WPS Report Generation for UAE module by installing it from the App Store. In order to get the complete features of this module, make sure that the Invoicing, Payroll, and _XLSX modules are already installed in your system.
To install the WPS Report Generation for UAE module into your database, go to the Open HRMS App Store where you can find all Open HRMS modules. This module is about the wage protection system report that follows UAE Accounting. Using the Filter or Searching Box, you can easily locate the required module as shown in the image below.
This module works integrated with the Payroll module in your system. So, go to the Payroll module to explore the advantages of the WPS Report Generation for UAE. As soon as you install this module into your database a new menu will appear in the Payroll module that is SIF.
As you can see in the screenshot above, this menu will help you to create salary information for a particular month in XLSX format. Before generating a new report, you need to update some information in the employee and company form. While installing this module, some new fields will be added in the employee form of each employee and company form.
In the employee form, you will get new fields called Employee Card Number, Salary Card Number/ Account Number, and Agent/Bank.
Every employee in a company owns a labor card and the labor card number of the employee can be mentioned in the Employee Card Number field. Along with this, specify the salary card number/account number and agent ID/bank ID in the corresponding fields.
A new field can be found in the company form also which is the Employer ID.
The company employer ID can be updated in this field. After updating these details, you can now generate WPS reports for payslips. For this, go back to the Payroll module. When you click on the SIF menu, you will get the option to create a new SIF.
Click the Create button. A new popup will appear to mention the Start and End Date of the report.
Based on the Start Date and End Date you mentioned in the specified fields, the Days of Payment and Month of Salary will be automatically updated in the corresponding fields. Now, you can use the ‘Print xlsx’ button to get the salary report in the XLSX format.
You will get the WPS report as shown in the image above. You can find EDR and SCR in the report. The EDR refers to the employee detail record which shows records of all employees. The overall salary competitiveness ratio can be seen in the SCR. You will get the details of the employee card number, salary card number or account number, start and end date, computed salary of the particular employee, currency value, and the total number of leaves in the EDR session. The Salary Competitiveness Ratio field includes the details of employee card number, date and time of the report generation, total computed salary, and corresponding currency. This is all about the generation of the WPS Report for UAE. By installing the WPS Report Generation for UAE module, you can easily generate and analyze the salary reports of employees every month in XLSX format.
